directional light issues

I don't know whats going on with my turn signal lights .....every now and then it will break into a flurry of :turn the left on and the right one blinks and vice versa....even the emergency flashers will only turn on the left (or right) at times.It seems tha if i stop and shut the truck off it "resets" or some such. Has anyone else gone through this sort of ****e.

I found some other older post about the signal light issue and followed the instructions as others had the same issues.....half hour....all fixed

Take it out of the truck, take it apart, clean it, regrease it and put it back together. Not hard to do and if it still doesn't work, it was only an hour of your time.
