Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Directions on changing fuel filter

Does anyone have directions on changing your fuel Filter. I know I need an 1 1/8" 6 point socket. Can I use an extention or not? It it just as simple as opening draining the fuel, dropping in the new filter, replacing the o ring and sealing. Then bump the starter a few times? Or are there some steps I am missing?



Advice or direction to thread much appreciated.

Got it all done. Now I have 1693 and 320 code. I have a RASP. I seem to remember that it threw these two when I first installed it. I replaced the toggle switch on the RASP today along with the fuel filter change. My friend had a thing to clear the codes. Is there any other way to have the code cleared?
