Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Dirty Turbo Cleaning

OK I'm sold on changing to AFE from my K&N drop in after finding really dirty turbo fins.

My question is do I need to clean the fins in the stock Holset turbo and if so what should I use?

honestly, I wouldn't worry about it... if it really bothers you to look at, hose them down with a little brake cleaner and let the truck sit long enough for the vapors to evaporate before you fire it up.



but it ain't gonna hurt anything
