Dissapointed with Magnaflow...

I just installed my Magnaflow 4" system yesterday and I'm quite dissapointed. Before I had the truck straight piped with no pipe after the banks brake, I basically ripped out all the old exhaust to install the banks brake. This sounded great but was really loud... So I ordered the Magnaflow. It is quiet but that doesn't bother me, the sound it produces does. It sounds like a big rice burner... BRRRZZZZZZZZZZZ I can't stand it. I'm going to replace the muffler with a piece of 4" SS tubing. I'm hoping this will give me the semi truck sound I had before but cut noise due to the full exhaust system being in there, minus the muffler. Anyone else have this problem? :{

Mine has developed a louder and deeper tone after about a year. I am

more pleased now than when I put it on. I agree with you, when I installed

it I was not satisfied with how it sounded. I missed the straight piped noise

of my 2001.
