Congratulations Rhonda! the NHRA track manager called today and notified me that a certain Instance Blue 4x4 diesel running 11. 8's attended their pro-bracket points race. He said that you cleaned house along w/taking out three of the NW top point leaders plus, their divisional champion WINNING THE SCRATCH… How cool is that, I hope (for my sake) you get over this RT infection by the 29TH:-laf Way-2- Go Oo.

Good news travels fast!

Man, what a great night! Third plaque in about a month! Oo.

Before the first round, my opponent looks at me and says, "It will be a miracle if I beat you. " Now there's a compliment! He red-lit, and I spun the tires past the 330' mark, in 4wd while feathering the throttle! I now have rubber on my passenger-side door... :-laf

In the third round the multiple track champ (who has beaten me the two times I've run against him) came up to me in the staging lanes and said (in a totally friendly way), "What are you still doing here?" I said, "I belong here. " Then I ran against him and put him on the trailer. x100 That's better than winning the lottery! Took out some other top points guys too.

Last night I didn't even think about my lights, just let them come, running . 02's and . 03's all night. Got to hit the brakes on all but the first run with some really tight races.

As far as how they take losing to me, all I can say is I don't think sportsmanship gets any better. Each and every one shakes my hand, sincerely congratulates me, and offers any advice and encouragement to go more rounds. These guys have all been racing for 10-20 years, and will give you the shirt off their backs.

This is why I race...

I asked that same question, PIR's mgmt “Russ” said they were true sportsmen and every one of them congratulated her. PIR has allot of pro-bracket points participants. W/ this win Rhonda should qualify to represent the Div 6 team at the end of the year Oo.

It's funny, the Princess actually does have a lot of fans... It is extremely flattering, and I love talking to them in the pits. People are shocked at what a diesel can do. One woman took some video that she'll be sending to me, and I am waiting for some really good photos taken by the Pro Trucker Magazine photographer at the Big Rig race.
