After my recent trip to Indy. Ive come to the conclussion that the rules for the DHRA are crap. We all know that the "stock" turbo on a Dmax is capable of performing much better than a hx 35. I mean Ive seen mine hit 55lbs before but not much after that I was getting the pieces out of my intercooler. I really dont want to think that Dmaxs are goin to dominate the starter class of truck pulling. There has to be some way to get more power out of these turbos. I understand that this is the lowend of competition but whats goin on. They always had drag racing and Dodge has pulling. Its just the way it is. But know there encroaching on our territory. Id like to get some ideas together or than the "cheat better" senario. Although I have been playing in that "grey" area for quite so time know. Even then Im not running away with every pull either. It still comes down to usually less than a foot with some guy that "never pulled before" and "only has an intake" on his truck. As he's downloading the lastest and greatest programming on his laptop in his overseas junk. Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas?
