The Dmax guys from The Diesel Place have invited the RMTDR members to a dyno day on May 22nd. You can find out more info by visiting their website at http://dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30433 Here is what I have so far from John (Deadeye):

COLORADO MAY 22ND DYNO DAY This dyno day is for diesel truck fanatics: duramax, powerstroke, cummins fans . Please pass this on to your diesel buddies:

Will start on 8am Sunday, May 22nd at Dyno Pro shop located at 6231 Beach Street, Denver CO:

We are working to make this a very fun day. We are gonna try to get all interested diesel truckers on the dyno; we don't know how long it will take. Suggeest that participants sign up for a registration number. The owner garantees the first 40 will make it through and probably even more. Given an 8am start and assuming 15 minutes per truck run you can figure about when you will be running to determine how early you should arrive. If your not on time we will try to slip you in as soon as possible. There are already several that have commited to run so the sooner you hook up the more slots you will have to pick from. I have asked Wade to handle the registration (IBDMAXIN).

Efforts are in process to get food and or an available caterer.

We will find some vendors to bring diesel toys to inspect. Duramaxedout is working to get some new trucks from a couple of dealers for display.

If you are willing to help volunteer for truck hook-ups contact myself or Wade.

There will be some more information posted next week including how this will be run and what the will be (I will likely copy ShayB except you will drive your own truck this time). I belive the cost will be $50 per truck but the runs will be at least three and more if necessary to provide accurate runs (per Bear Lynch).

If you have any advice (useful please, no ) or are willing to help this newby dyno origanizer please feel free to contact me.

The D-max guys would like for people to pre-register for this dyno day. You can do that at the thread link in the first post. I have another committment that day, but will try to make it for a while.

So are they going to show us how to properly run over a trash can? :-laf

Sorry, had to throw that out there. Sounds like a fun event. I'll show up in the afternoon to see whats going on. I have prior commitments for the morning. Who has a D day on sunday anyway?

Last I knew they were still planning on doing it. I believe they have 6 or 8 trucks committed to coming. They say they will be able to run 40 trucks. If I am able to show up I might be there.
