dmax shudder

I just drove a firends I think 01 dmax 1 tom drw, and when acelerating from a stop the thing shidders. it allmost feels like its skipping ut it goes away in higher egars and seems to go away when it builds boost. it did it in reverse also but not as bad. it has an edge juice I beleive, that was turned off. Im going to try it unplugged. has anyon heard of torque converter problems with these? it hasnew injectors. and 96k on it. hes selling it (got smart) but Im curious to know. thanks to anyone with a real answer

I have a buddy that has had I believe an '01, and now an '05 D-max I believe. He had the TST box in the first one and now an edge in the present truck. Both felt like they were slipping or shuttering under hard acceleration with the box turned up. I heard the tran's has like an over torque mode or something to prevent damage. He had to buy something electrical to overide it to not "slip". I think it was called a finger stick or fire stick. I can't remember. I don't know if this is the same problem your experiencing!

it does it bad even with the box off. im definately thinking drivetrain at this point
