There have five instances so far that have led me to where I am now:
-Twice while idling under the control of the turbo temp monitor, the engine begin to surge between 5ish and 7ish.
-While stoped at an intersection in neutral, the engine began to "die. " It sounded like cylinders were being cut-out until I had half throttle and barely 1000rpm. Light turned green, droped it into gear and nailed it. Cleared right up and ran great for a couple of weeks.
-Driving on the freeway engine died at around 2000rpm, noticed a puff of white smoke in back. Turned off the UFM as I was making my way to the right, bumped her into N and coasted another lane. Noticed she was idling okay and dropped her back into D and she did fine.
-15 minutes later same thing only this time she shut down. Once stopped on the side of the road I turned the key and she shook violently compared to usual, tried with UFM off and on, no luck. Popped the hood looking for something obvious, loose pump wire or chaffed fuel line, something. Cycled the key and she fired. Drove home fine.
Soooooo, I just put gauge on at the inlet to the VP and my pressure is where it always is, 18-19. Does the LP psi slowly tapper off as it meets its fate or is it a sudden drop? Any ideas? Also, can the pusher get past the LP?
Thanks in advance!
