I hear a sound like the brakes are trying to grab or rubbing noise. This sound only happens when the truck comes to almost a complete stop, not during braking. About the last second before the brakes come to a complete lock to full lock. It almost sound like, when you ride your breaks at idle and let them slip a little.

You can hear as well as feel when this happens.

Is this the brakes/rotors or a suspension problem as the front end dives and goes up?

Its annoying.

Mine started doing this about 2 weeks ago, ive got 28,000 miles on it,

maybe its time for a brake job, i was going to pull a wheel off and check but i've been lazy.

Almost sounds like squealers on a car pad, but i didnt see any squealers on the brake pads before... .

I've heard of some pad manufacurers putting something IN the pad, so that it makes noise without rubbing a groove in the rotor.

anyone else ?

What Interval have people done brake jobs too by the way ?

mine is a low pitch metal on metal, or something hard on metal. kinda sound.

i can only hear it at very low speeds, like rolling to a stop, or pulling away from a stop.

with the radio turned down. and slightly through the brake petal.
