Competition Do i have to change the O-rings when i change the head gasket?

I'm changing my head gasket, gonna try a different thickness gasket. My cylinder head is O-ringed, do I need to have the O-rings replaced?



This head has been on for a year +/- with a -39 marine gasket. The O-rings appear to have settled a little from what they looked like when I 1st had them done, but they are still intact.



I didn't blow the gasket, I just want to try a different thickness gasket. Will these O-rings seal up again, or do i need to have them redone?

They should be fine. Just remember you ought to retorque the head a couple times though.
