Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) do i need a downpipe?

hey guys,



I'm currently working on a deal for a turbo upgrade to a phat shaft 62 and was wondering if i need the downpipe? I already have 4" duals from mbrp as stated in sig. i don't think I need it do I?

I assume you are running the factory turbo now and if so you will need to upgrade to a full 4" downpipe. Every system I have seen comes with a downpipe that is necked down to bolt to the factory 3" elbow off the factory turbo. I would say it is an hx40 outlet but I am not sure if II uses a two different style outlets like HTT does. Ask the seller or II, if you are buying new, which outlet it has.
