Do I need a flash?....

Haven't updated my signature yet, but I have a new 08 2500 QC 4wd with the 6. 7 and 6 spd AT. I have been getting 13 mpg in town and 18 unloaded on the freeway... ... . I have read posts about the AU flash... . Do I need it or should I just hope mpg improve... . I don't really want the deeler to F up my new ride... ... Any input would be great... thanks in advance... Mike

Only need it if your truck was made before sept 20th as for yer mpg I am getting about same if not a little better

so far this thing likes to run fast gets better mpg at 70 + then it does under 70

08 don't get the au flash, that is for the 07 - yours should be ag

I'll take you mpg anyday. I don't think my overhead goes to 18 and its about 1 to 1 1/2 mpg off to the high side.

thx for the responses..... I think I'll just give it some time and hope it improves... ... I guess its not bad for a 7000 # rig... ...
