OK - I know everything eventually goes "south" - I have Don's 2. 4's with close to 200,000 on them - they seem to work great..... what are the signs that they are ... ... . BAD?????

Also - I noticed that folks were talking about the New Technology----has Don changed from what I have that are 3+ years old????

Yes, they will wear out. The spring inside can fall out of spec. The internal nozzle needle that acts like a needle valve can wear where it seats into the tip. Both can allow fuel leakage.

The quickest and easiest method is to find a shop that will pop test them for you. This is in reference to 12 valve injectors. Electric injectors in the 24 valve engines may take a more sophisticated testing process - I don't know, I'm properly valved!

But you don't know how well they are working unless you have them tested. I thought my old 370's were OK until the were pop tested. 2 wouldn't pop. They were shot. But I couldn't tell from the way the truck ran.

Jeff Garmon likes old worn ot 370s because they are cheap and the holes in the tip get bored out bigger after all the fuel has gone through them. Set your pop offs and away you go...
