Competition 24valve anti-fueling at launch?

Just dynoed my setup today and here's what I got... 366/1053. Seem, right?

Everything in sig, DD3's, smarty on 8, apb up all the way, 6th gear, ULSD winter fuel, 37 degrees out, hood shut, stock turbo scream'n, pyro pegged @1600 for a few seconds (I know... . ) all on a mustang dyno. What do you think????

You must have ran on a load type of dyno hence the high torque number and humbling horsepower number.

Yeah your trucks running fine for that kind of dyno.

I don't know about your #'s but it seems that quite a few trucks on that dyno ran a little low today. Give them time to get it dialed in and then go back and I think you might be a little happier.

For example a truck that I have seen dyno 600 on a load type dyno only made 5 something but accelerated from 60 to 100 in about 4 seconds, and I dont' think he could do that on the interstate.

To be honest, I actually expected more more like 420/950 ish. I guess I should not be too dissapointed. Torque is why we play anyways :-laf

Hey James, not an expert by any means, but I dynoed there the same day. My #'s seemed a bit low(375/903), but i was still happy. I ended up with double the factory HP. Those look to be pretty good #'s considering you said you had the stock turbo on still. Wish Keith would have had that dyno last year when I swapped mine out. That way I could compare before and after. All and all, was a fun time. Was my first duno day, but looked to be alot of trucks there, and a few cute girls to boot!

The other thing that I am curious about is the power difference between 8 and 9 with the smarty (no timing/timing) I dynoed on 8 all three times. 1st time just injectors and smarty on 8 and put down 262, then with the box the other 2. Hey which truck was yours btw?

Also to any one else what is the main diff in a load dyno vs inertia dyno?

Is there a way to guess what you would make on one vs the other, since you obviously get diff #'s?

James, mine was the dark gray '02 with the home made stepbars and 35's. There is a pic in my profile. Which one was yours?

I've dynoed on Floor-It's dyno with Smarty(#9) and DD3's and put down 320...

Well then the the even numbers don't add power(yeh right) or that dyno was not calibrated right... . cause my numbers should have hit 400 or so then. Do you have a stock turbo?

I'm still running a stock turbo...

To me, your horsepower number seems low and your torque number high but you never know. I dynoed 260 with just an EZ long ago.

mach 4's and smarty give me 400 hp here and in elevation.

I run a 35/40 turbo with an old school :-laf DTT transmission.

just for the record

DD3's are 100 hp and Mach 4's are 150 hp.

I run no other electronics :)

so you think my numbers should be around that... 262 given that I have a stock turbo? What does a stock truck put down?

Just the injectors alone should have put you around 300... .

Never thought to ask, but I figured they should have been better than what I got, I am starting to think that the dyno was not calibrated very well.
