I f you have a Edge Comp "Do Not" unplug the box. If you unplug the wiring harness from the back of the Comp box and forget  to plug it back in before starting, you will set the check engine light :( . I had to have it reset. The Map sensor is not making a complete circuit. Sam

Sam,

Good to know. Do you have a digital camera? If so can you show me the connections you make into the pump with the comp. I think I may up grade to the comp. But I want an "easy" install. And one of where you put it in the cab too.

Hi Sky,

I would say it is a "easy" install. You have to remove the intake horn to get to the pump wire. When you order ask for the pin prick connector, pretty slick. Route the wires inside the cab and hook a power wire up, velcro the box to your dash and go play. I followed the Edge directions and picked me up a slick new battery post spring loaded removal tool. If you want the code cleared from memory you need to have it cleared. If you just want the light to go out all you have to do is make sure everything is connected and keep running it. After several successful runs the computer just dismisses the fault and shuts the light off. Happens to me everytime I change the fuel filter. Unplug the injector pump while bumping starter = no air in high pressure injector lines. A couple of trips later the light goes out.
