Do the "chips" cancel the rev limiter?

Have an 03, 3500, 6sp, 4x4, bought the edge EZ, it made a totally different truck out of it, i love it, but was disapointed that the truck will still only run 108 mph, I THOUGHT THE CHIPS CANCELLED OUT THE REV LIMITER!! I've heard of diesel trucks that just keep climbing, sometimes to 140mph (I know if i want speed i should get a sports car). Anyone know how they atain 140 mph?

The 3rd gen trucks are still limited to the OEM RPM limit... . The 24v trucks can go with the Blue Chip Redline box and get additional/unlimited RPM. Then you have the 12v trucks with the p-pumps here RPM is pretty much unlimited up to what the engine can take.



Now if it the truck speed limiter you are reffering too, then BD makes a Top speed eliminator that will allow you to pull all the way to redline in top gear.

Doug, how many years ago was that 746hp run with the B1 and spray?
