Do the fold out towing mirrors come with the towing package?

Do the fold out towing mirrors come with the towing package? Or do you have to order them separate? The internet site is vague and the dealer didn't know for sure. If a truck comes with the towing package, can it have the standard mirrors?

Can't say for sure on teh 03's but my 01 has the tow pkg and does not have the flip out tow mirrors. I have the slt and it came with power, heated mirrors that do not flip out and if I recall it was a seperate option but might have been part of the convienence pkg.

I had to order the fold out mirrors separately. If nothing has changed the towing package comes with the standard mirrors, and the flip out mirrors have to be ordered separately.

Not only are they an option,they are on back order!Mine finally came in, & the dealer is going to charge me $300+tx for them. I have a 2003 slt 3500 w/ tow pkg which came with standard electric/heated mirrors. You definitely want to order them when you buy,if you plan tow. Pat

Is that price installed? My neighbor just put a set on his truck and they went on pretty easy. I don't know what he paid for them.

My tow mirrors were $485 installed as part of the deal, but installed after they came in.



They are definitely not with the tow package.

Pat, I was a little taken back by the price tag because they were only an $80 option when I ordered my truck. I didn't take into acount the price of the standard mirrors. I guess it pays to get the options when you order your truck from the factory.

The towing mirrors are an option, not part of towing package, and for the first time come standard with heat and power adjust... a must have item!
