Do you want to see my pictures of the Great Sand Dunes National Monument?

After loosing my job last week, I took a few days to visit the Great Sand Dunes National Monument in southern Colorado with the new truck and 5er. It's a really neat place, and the lighting is really dramatic this time of the year because the sun is so low. I did some hiking in and around the dunes and took these pictures. I have not sorted through them yet, so there is some duplication. Enjoy.

Great pics, makes wish I still had my sand rail and a place to run. I bet they would get crabby if you tried to drive on em.

No can do. It's considered a wilderness area, and I prefer it that way.

I agree, we need the wilderness parks. Your pics reminded me of all the fun times I have had running sand dunes in different places, I sure miss it. I have always supported the Parks keeping things unspoiled and enjoy those also. Thanks for the pics
