They are a computer chip that hooks into the ECM and the MAP senser, basically what thet do is FOOL the computer and the puter thinks its doing what it was programed to do , as far a boost timing and fuel , say for example the puter thinks its getting 24 psi of boost when it is actually getting 35 psi of boost, the chip or box changes the curve on them .
