I had read some where in these forums that there was a dodge part number for an engine brake, now I cant find it:( Does any one know of this part # and are these a good brake.

Thanks Jon

It's a Jacobs brake, but I don't know the Dodge part #. Dodge dealer should be able to look itup.

I don't know the part number but I have installed one. I have also installed a BD brake. The Jacobs brake that Dodge sells was more complicated to install and didn't seem to retard as well as the BD on similar trucks (seat of the pants). This is just my SMALL experience. I think the Jacobs is definitely a good brake though and seem to be well built. The Jacobs brake will look more factory when done then the BD because it comes from Dodge.

Depends on the year of your truck... ... . here are the part numbers, they are at the bottom of the page.

I bought my jacob brake 3 years ago from mopar 4 less.com. It was $550 plus shipping. May have went up some. I realy like it but have never tried any other brand.
