Archived Dodge 2000, 3500 - low boost, high egt

I was cruising normal my pulling trailer when we heard a loud pop, like a hose blowing off, then a loud whoosin noise. I get 10# of boost max before egt is out of limit, it is normal at idle and only get this when I am generating boost. I'm spending the night at a rest area east of Moriaty, NM on I-40. I am contacting you thru a friend via cell phone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Hammer and rweis, I checked the boots again this morning in daylight and found that the right front boot was split. I really appreciate your taking the time to respond.
