Dodge 360 to HEMI swap? Help

Does anybody know of anyone that has swapped a newer truck HEMI into an older truck with the 360 5. 9?



I have an 01' 1500 with the 5. 9 and 46re and have an opportunity(possibly) to pick up a totaled newer dodge that has the HEMI in it. I only get about 9 mpg in the truck now the way it's set up and been beaten on, so I was thinking it would be nice to swap in some more power and mileage via a newer driveline. I also thought if it would be feasable, to also swap the cam in the new motor for one of the comp cams that are made for it to really bring it to life, since it's already out of the truck. :-laf

I would contact Street & Performance (Welcome to Street and Performance), most of what they do has to do with swapping late-model fuel injected engines into hotrods and such, but they do other stuff as well. They have (or currently are) putting a 5. 7 Hemi into a Plymouth Prowler. call or e-mail them, Id bet they could help you out with wiring issues or even as a source for the engine.
