I won the route 66 burn out contest last night. Tok home first prise of $1000. Was so much fun this tear. I did a slow burnout for 300 feet and was pulling the train horns the whole way. I got tons of pic and video. Will get them off the camera tonight and post them here. Even made the front page of the news paper.

In the flame-throwing competition after the burnout, drivers revved their RPMs and then shut the motor down so all power would be directed toward shooting flames from the exhaust pipes.



wow, regualr burnout contest, freestyle and then a flame throwing contest too!!! Just some serious fun, wish I was close enough to attend...
 
Those were 35" bfg at's. Thats about the only time I really liked the tire. I started from a dead stop, no water. Held the burn steady for over 300 ft at a nice slow crawl.

talk to Turbodiezel, he has hosted a few videos for some other members on occasion. Heck, Im sure hed like to have it for his next diesel video... give him a jingle.
 
I just a phone interview with dragraceusa.com they are writting a artical about the event and will have my picture on the site. Way cool. Also trying to make it down to lacr to make some passes this weekend.
