I bought a new 06 Dually for my business. According to Dodge it is listed as a business link vehicle. This means anytime I take it to a business link dealer they are suppose to work me in the next bay open and get me back on the road.

I am here to tell you that is just Dodge's way to sell vehicles. All I get in the Las Vegas area is we don't care what Dodge says we are too busy and you have to make an appointment. If I did not live 80 miles away and I am busy all the time and away from the area I would be glad to make an appointmet.

Dodge dealers and customer service is not the same language. Dodge has a nice truck but Chevy/GMC dealers with do everything to work with you. 108 Degrees out and I can not even get the A/C worked on.

what you need to do in that situation is first see the business link salesman at the dealer. if that doesn't work the go see the service manager. you will get taken care of that day. but also when they say first available bay means the first bay that has a capable lift for your truck. which can take some time.

Sorry to say I had a very different experience with GM (chevy) dealers willing to work with you on problems verses dodge dealers :) coobie

I've only had one experience with my local Dodge dealer and it was a good experience. I have a very busy schedule, so I am an appointment maker. They were on time and done in no time.

My businesslink dealer requires a appointment if I need a dealer supplied vehicle to drive while they have my truck. If I need it worked on next up that means I wait either for the next available dealer vehicle for me to drive or the truck getting fixed.

I deliver RV's nation wide and Canada I do not believe a dealer will have a vehicle for me to use util they fix mine. Also, with my business and being in all parts of the country I do not usuall have the luxuary of making appointments since I never know where I'm going to be nor have a directory of dealers. If dodge wants to be in the commercial vehicle business they have some more tweeking to do.

My point exactly unless you have a laptop to access the dodge site you only have trial and error. More error I may add.
