You bet... awesome idea...
I vote for Farragut State Park, near Athol, Idaho. Papa Joe can tell us all about it. It has hosted groups in the tens of thousands before, and in the mid to late summer and early fall, it has wonderful weather... as well as being naturally beautiful.
It is the site, where, in 1942, the US Navy built the second largest training facility in the world. It has space, amphitheaters, museums, and group facilities capable of holding a 20,000 boy scout jamboree. It is a short distance from a wonderful theme park, lake Pend Orielle, Sandpoint, ID and Coeur D' Alene, ID. Lots of wildlife, as well.
It has RV and tent camping facilities.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea. It need not cost the organizers any large amount, it would be a GREAT family vacation, as there's everything you ever wanted to do outdoors in the area, and everything is reasonably priced. There have been Boy Scout Jamborees of 35,000 held there before, so a few of us should not be a problem.
For those of you who've not visited the great Northwest, you're missing God's country, and those of you who have been here... well, I don't need to remind you that you really DO want to come back! Dave Smith Motors is just an hour or hour and a half drive from there - and it's the largest Dodge truck dealer in the world. Silverwood theme park is just a few minutes away, and it's a great family outing, with timber roller coasters, planned zoo, real steam train, and it's all totally wholesome.
Imagine this: it's not only a state park that welcomes you with your guns, but has a shooting range! It has horse facilities, as well, for those of you who like equestrian pursuits.
And not to mention, us Idaho Spuds are the nicest people in the world
And I almost forgot... This is a place where the locals would grin from ear to ear to see and hear thousand Cummins hummin
