Dodge Factory Installed Gooseneck Hitch

Just saw on one of my online newletters that Dodge is coming out with a factory installed/option gooseneck hitch. It appears to be a removal ball setup that requires no welding, but some drilling. Be interesting who they source it from.

A B&W just requires the typical 4" hole for the ball and 4 - 1/2" holes for the saftey chain attachments.



I wonder what they will charge? or if the mount will be integrated with the frame somehow...

Dad sells drop 'n locks on eBay. A few weeks ago he got a call from a guy who claimed to be an engineer from Ford and one or two more calls from Ford dealers all on the same day. They were interested in using the Drop 'n 'lock design. Ford has been known to steal ideas in the past. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

I wouldn't be surprised it Dodge comes out with something very similar to one that's already out.
