Barry, you asked, "How Do You Bomb A Mercedes". When I was stationed in Naples, Italy from '88 - '92, (during the time when Frankfurt, Germany was having a lot of terrorist activity) an agent with the Naval Investigative Service (NIS) was in the office talking about a driver for one of the Admirals. The Admiral had gone to Frankfurt, Germany and his armored Mercedes was sent there also. The Admiral was supposed to be flying into Frankfurt Airport so the driver was waiting there with the car. The driver parked the car off to the side toward the front of the airport (waiting for the boss) and went inside for a bathroom/coffee break. While he was gone, the German police paged him several times for him to move the vehicle. He didn't respond. They tried again with the warning that if he didn't move the vehicle immediately, they would blow it up. He didn't. They did. The Admiral arrived to find his Mercedes in several different pieces. The NIS agent showed us photos of the Mercedes. The driver is probably still paying for that car.
That's called "Bombing" A Mercedes.
