They did not really mention this one. When I was in the Air Force they used these to ferry B-52 and KC-135 crews from their barracks to the alert aircraft. Never really gave much attention to them at the time.

Many if not all were 225 slant 6s with 4spd transmission and 1st. grandma. They could hardly keep up on the highway, but could run forever.
Just another find memory. Can't remember what year in the early 80s Ram quit producing crew cabs, but my unit got one 4x2, crew cab, 8ft bed, 318CI v8, auto. Dodge still had clunky rearends.
I remember beginning haul out to barn ( hangar ) in Dodge bread truck to get in the aircraft, and climbing up stand and getting into the cockpit. Those were the days long ago.
