I have Part Number-82211439AD, which is the kit on the same page you linked. Works just fine. Dealer has to program the remote start but you can install the parts first and just pay for the programing of the TIPM and updating your truck with Chrysler. Takes about an hour to install and program.



Bottom line both will work on the truck. Only difference is a seperate FOB verses new keys.

The link I posted is to a kit. Your kit is for the '08-'09 and is, I believe, different than the kit for the '06-'07 trucks. I would like to know if anyone has installed the factory kit in an '06-7.

I'd be concerned about idling the truck in park too long. The auto transmission oil pump isn't pumping very well in park. I think the Owner's manual says something about this.
