I have an 05 that the lift pump was reggistering 0 psi while in gear. Dodge dealership refused to pressure test it. They volume tested it. That means they only made sure it was pumping at all, not pumping to specs. Which Bosch states is above 6 psi.
They also lied and said I was not covered under warranty which lead me to leave and than go over my warranty. I was only 30 miles under it.
Corporate Chrysler says I am in the right, that the pump was covered and dealership made a mistake however I have to deal with them as they are separate from corporate.
I have replaced the pos stock lift pump with a fass pump and am trying to get my money back from dealership as they were the cause of me leaving the dealership and having someone else work on it.
Has anyone else had similar issues with a dealership or had the lift pump replaced and can help me with proving my case?
They did replace all six of my injectors and claimed that they didn't fail due to lift pump but just randomly all six failed, probably due to water in fuel. Not them over heating due to improper flow/reduced return flow which cools them and keeps them from dieing.
