Does America have what it takes????

Given our countries history of short term memory, do we as a whole, have the ability to stay focused and outraged long enough to win a protracted conflict? THERE WILL BE FURTHER AMERICAN LOSSES. THIS WILL NOT BE A SHORT CONFLICT. Will the hippies and tree huggers come out chanting about "peace" ( even though WE were at peace last Monday )? Will the college campuses once again come alive with know-it-all students? Will we the elders STAND BY IDLY AND LET THEM DO IT *AGAIN* ? Perhaps if they are so smart, then they can pay their *own* tuition? I fear that we will forget our fallen countrymen and allow this evil to continue when the going gets rough. We must be ready to remind those who forget, that if we dont rid the world of this terriorism, we WILL face it again. During all this, lets not become the thing we hate.

Last night I heard a spokeswoman for groupp at Berkley saying that we should not attack anyone because we would be killiing people. But that we should arrest Bin Ladin and try him in our courts. MAY BE he will turn himself in.

We have two things wrong in this great country as I see it.

1. Too many Lawyers!

2. Press reports and causes harm to our country.



I am encourged to hear that President George Bush and all are not giving details. An I hope our failures at routing the enemy does not get reported. The enemy depends on the press to give them wide coverage of their foul deeds.

I have my own opinion of the Berkley types. They would get a first hand view of the mountians outside Kabul etc.

Screw em all

We need to ignore these people. They are either ignorant or deliberate in their intentions as it relates to peace. If they are ignorant they need to be educated, although I don't know how you can get a better object lesson than watching the World Trade Center towers get hit by two jet airliners and subsequently collapsing. If the peaceniks are deliberately trying to sabotage our mission, they need to be talked over, ignored or shamed into silence. Ironically, we are going to fight this war to protect the very rights that these people take for granted. I'm glad the administration is undertaking a close mouthed approach concerning our short and long term mission requirements and objectives. OK libs, flame away.

Give Peace A Chance

I say we give the peace people a change. Shall we say... 48hrs. And if they haven't come out of Afganastan with bin Laden in that time frame then we send in the troops.



If the peace people don't make it out... bummer.

These people that dont want us to do anything would have a diferent tone if they had family and friends that were killed do to these COWARDLY attacts. Im sorry but I say KILL THEM ALL and let God sort them out. At least they know were comeing and the innocent can get out of the way.

The world according to?

This is the way I see it. Things done wrong so far:Forming a new bueracrecy to fight terorism(bueracrecys are easy to start hard to get rid of,look at ATF). Conveining congress for investigation of WTC and Pentagon incident to investigate and see if and who to put formal charges on(If we don't know by now?Waste of money and time. )



Things done right:Rescue efforts by NYC firemen and NYPD(These guys are the best of the best and should all get the highest medals ever bestowed). The armed forces are being readied for battle. (This is not going to be easy,they will have a rough time hunting down the snakes responsible for this). Our nations pulling together(We are united and ready for anything they can throw at us). I have a long list of good things,but for now HOORAW America.

Some of you share the same thoughts as I do. Some of you do not.

I served 21 years in the USMC and am proud of it.

I think the President is going about this in the right way. We the (US) needs the backing of the rest of the world or it will seem like we are out head hunting.

From what I hear WE want to cut him off at the Knees (backing and $$$) and then cut off his head through the use of force. The USSR tried for over 20 years and could not accomplish anything.

If there are folks out there that think we should not do anything, all I have to say to you is: GET THE H&!! OUT OF MY COUNTRY, you don't desire to live here.
