Does anybody have a campbell hausfield air compressor that has the dipstick to check the oil?If so how do you read it. Mine only has a notch at the very end. I have no idea if thats the full mark or what.

What I would do is drain it, put in a fresh crankcase of the recomended volume of the recomended oil and see where it is on the dipstick.



If you dont have a book, you can prob find one by an internet search for that particular model of compressor.

I tryed the internet search and found a parts list but thats it. And i don't know the capacity so that wont work either.

The notch on the dipstick is the full mark. The end is the add mark.
