Does anyone here restore/sell old trucks (tractors)?

Buddy of mine has an old '52 Kenworth he needs to get rid of. It's a runner and driver, but it's ugly with no paperwork. We're looking for a place to sell it (Craigslist hasn't worked out yet), maybe an antique truck forum? We'd rather see someone use it than cut it up for scrap... which is probably what we'll end up doing if we can't sell it. Suggestions? Thanks!

Tons. The truck is aluminum frame, so the money would be pretty good for us just to cut it up... forgive the engine skid on the back...

Ok Im interested! Got a price in mind? I also need total length of it for hauling reasons because if I buy it there is NO WAY Im driving it back to Iowa!

He's at $500 firm, but it has to be out of here soon. I can run out to the property and get specs if you're still serious. PM me and I'll give you my buddy's phone number if you're serious. I'm sure he'd be happy to talk.

Wow, my kinda truck!! Hauled logs in one about like it, 1947 model. That one is a genuine "twin screw" with torsion bar rear suspension.

I would say it is about a 240" wheel base or from front to back about 27 feet.

That's fine. That's the problem we're running into with most people. Code enforcement came down on the property owner (my buddy's uncle) so we have to get the place cleaned up.

I worked with a guy that lived in galt, and I cannot beleive they are giving you a hard time out there!! they are turning into dheads all over this komie state!!

Yes, Galt is Galt, but if you saw the property you might change your mind. :-laf You know what they say... one man's junk is another man's treasure... . Let's just say there's lots of treasure on the property... :D

You can get an idea from a couple of the pics... .
