does anyone know what the legal noise dB of exhaust is in ontario, canada?

i tried looking through what i could find in the highway traffic acts and all i could find is basically no straight pipes allowed or gutted mufflers. i am just curious. was talking with some cops at the auto show i went to on the weekend and they did not know off hand, but if it sounded loud to them, they could ticket you. if you can prove you are under the legal dB limit, you can get cleared. if no one knows what the limit is, then what?
