I have read all that I know about this from 03 to now...

What was/ is the verdict on this??

I read the threads up until it says "It's the EFC Actuator... " and then nothing more...

So did this solve it?

Are there instructions / photos to assist in replacing the actuator?

Please reply...

I think they have helped irratic idle conditions. It is very easy to change.

1. Unplug connector on the back

2. Remove 3 Torx head bolts

3. Pull out old unit

4. Install new unit, tighten bolts, plug in, DONE!!

Will take you 15 minutes, tops.

Thanks... I have heard that it is a bad Injector?

I just wonder why this topic seems to have fallen off the map.

Thanks for the reply

this 04. 5 runs rough at all rpms injectors is the my problem. 130thou miles and too aggessive on the rail pressure. does not fluctuate rpms... yet but sounds like crap. finding new injectors with becoming another "transmission hog" is another problem.

should be cold out. 1 sign of your problem could be white smoke on cold soaked start. suggest you call cody at industrial injection and discuss the potential of injectors or any other fueling.
