Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Does fuel pressure remain when truck is off

Hello all,



Can anyone shed some light for me please?

Is the fuel pressure supposed to stay up if you bump the starter and then do not start the engine

example:

Bump starter - LP gets gauge to 12 psi - LP stops, then the pressure drops to 0. Wondering if this is a leak or normal
