It just occurred to me on a 200 mile round trip into Oregon that my truck lives about as perfect life as it could. It is not my daily driver, my CJ-5 does the around town stuff. My CTD lives in a heated garage so it hardly ever makes a cold start. When I do start it which is at least every week it is going for a drive of at least 100 miles. 30 % percent of my trucks miles are highway empty the rest are highway towing a six horse gooseneck. I change oil every 3,000 miles (Delo 400) fuel filter every third oil change and all boxes every 10,000 miles. Standadyne in every tankful and always put away clean and full of fuel. Does it get any better than this? Oh yeah it is not for sale!! I bought my last pickup new in 77 and owned it for 21 years. I expect I'll have this one even longer.

All that is great :D

But. . . you didn't admit in your post that your poor Ram has to share the driveway/garage with a Drof :p

I hope yer not getting too much snow this year :)

My Dodge can look out the garage window and see the snow covered Ford work truck. If you listen closely you can hear my Dodge chuckling.

i dont know i think my has it better . it is warm in the garage it does share with another but its my wife's ctd so i guess you could say my truck has a girlfriend to spend the nights with . atleast if there is a puppy i know it will be a ctd :D
