Does RBK radio come with external Amp?

Hello all.

Newbie here.

Enjoying my 05 QC 2500 CTD



Owned it one week now.

Put on an AFE stage 2, and MBRP catback, and loving it.



Quick question, did some searching but could not find a definitive answer, does the RBK radio have an external amp?

I am planning to replace it next and was wondering if i will need to bybass the amp or if there is not one thats even better.

If your window sticker in the options talked about the "INFINITY" then you have an amp and it is behind and above the glove box. The INFINITY system adds an amp and extra speakers beyond (my extras are three in the dash) the normal configuration.

No there is no Infinity option in the truck, just the RBK CD player. But, I read someone post and they made it sound like all the cd players may have external amps, not just the Infinity models. Anyone else have any ideas?
