Does this sound fishy to you?? (lift pump)

In short, truck on it's 3rd "near warranty end cleanup" trip.

I asked the dealer to check the lift pump pressure on my '99.

My wife tells me that they discovered my lift pump is not OEM and thus they assume I had changed it ... ...

Anybody else ever hear something like this?

(truck bought new from same dealer and no I never touched the lift pump)

There is a banjo fitting on the liftpump that came with my ESPAR due to a need to change the angle of the fuel line coming into the liftpump. (ESPAR too close)

I suspect that it is the cause of the problem and will confirm next week
