Just curious. I think they do... their website is here. Timken, in turn, gets the bearing forgings from Virginia Forge Company
Interestingly, Virginia Forge Company has just announced they'll spend $18. 3 million upgrading their production facility that makes these bearing components. They provide the forgings for DC, Ford, GM, and Nissan. The new facility will be able to make more than 5 million more forgings per year than the current operation does.
What does this mean? Will we see a drop in prices on integral hub/bearing assemblies?
