I have most of the damage fixed but can't figure out the last wires . The wire loom that runs under the lower radiator support from left to right side is the problem. On the right side I have 3 black wires. The loom from left has 2 black and 2 gray. All other wires in loom have been reatached. This is a 2001 2wd auto. Any help would be appreciated

Truck fires up but wires I described were shorting so I disconected batterys until I can get answers as to what black wires and gray wires should be atached to. I do not want to take a chance on any more damage.

This sounds like a story a kid would tell to a teacher:D

I agree with throttlejockey, Cut them so they don't short, you can rewire them later, and see what doesn't work on the truck.

 Are you guys FEEDING these dogs?:)

Kidding. I guess dogs get bored and start to chew on stuff. Wonder why they pick on these $40,000. 00 pick up trucks?

KRamsey, whatever happened with your truck? Give us an update, man!

next trip out the dog would have his muzzle on while i shopped. . I couldn't not imagine what i would end up doing, knowing my dog had eaten the wiring under my truck, its bad enough with flipping ground squirrels, ever so often and they are really bad if a vehicle sits to long.

My mechanic's dog chewed the wiring on a Ford van I used to own. Took me 45 minutes to an hour to get them back together on the side of the road.

KRamsey, use a trouble light or multi-meter to see which ones are hot then wrap those in electrical tape. Then find a wiring diagram.

thanks for the replys,Been under the truck finding more damage. Both brake lines had to be replaced (not available from Dodge). I had them custom made of s. s. braded. Had to rewire both abs sensors and all trans wiring. Replaced rubber hose to washer bottle and right interfender + plastic on lower bumper as well as black rubber upper cover. Truck is up and running with no codes ya!!! The 3 black wires from the right side turned out to be grounds to lights and turn sig. The 2 gray wires from left side I capped. All seems to work so far. Built a carport and chainlink enclosurer to stop a repeat. The problem was caused by ground squirrels eating from dog feeders and being chased under the truck. Squirrels tried to nest on valve cover using sound deadner from under hood. Stripped remainder of sound deadner from hood and pressure washed engine bay
