Hey guys

I know, I'm just a second gen guy but my friends dog ate the drivers seatbelt receiver of her reg cab hemi. I assume it's the same parts as a diesel. Is this just a simple bolt in item and plug in for the darn seatbelt dinger? any idea on dealer parts cost?

thank you

I'm truly sorry, but I have to LOL at this one. Glad I am not the only one to fall victim to a revengeful pooch. Mine used to ride up front with me all the time, my copilot. When I got tired of cleaning the hair out of the seats, I put a separator, one of those bar style grates, to keep her in the back of the SUV. She got her head through the bars and chewed the rear passenger belt half in two. I ended up having to buy the whole retractor assy. Now I got the Ram and she can ride up front with my seat covers. If I have a passenger, she either has room to ride in the middle or the whole back seat. At least she don't chew the belts anymore.

Hey guy's

In my day's working at the dealership in the parts dept... . I had a guy that came in very often his lab had a thing for cupholders he ate three of them the last time the guy came in while i was still working there he came in smiling and said guess what, and he rattled off the part numuber and ordered two of them.

ok ok ok -- to the top

She now has (as do i ) a canopy and kennel in the bed. A puppy of mine once ate the entire console cover in my ram in 10 minutes. Actually, i believe a crate is the safest way to put a dog in any vehicle. I cringe at dogs travelling in open truck beds.

Still, any answers to the original post?

no idea on the cost but im pretty sure they are the same, you might need a Torx socket to remove it I can't remember , but it should be pretty simple.
