The other thread on "quickest ride" got me to thinking and remembering about days of playing in the dirt... . Dirt track "late model" racing has always been much a part of my life, my cousin still drives, and has recently acquired a Rocket Chassis www.rocketchassis.com after years of driving Mastersbilt Race Cars www.mastersbilt.com and C. J. Rayburn Race Cars

www.cjrayburn.com Looking forward to going to a few races this year, if I can cram it in between the diesel events. Anybody else in the TDR a fan of sanctioned and non-sanctioned dirt track racing? I'm off work the weekend of the World 100 at Eldora Speedway, Rossburg, Ohio, (Sept. 6 & 7 ) if any of y'all want to join me in camping out up there.

edit: How did this get in the Products Forum? I'm almost positive I posted it to the "Other" forum... . oh well. Someone :D will be along soon to boot it off somewhere, maybe back to the "Other" forum...

I am still a fan...

but live in an area far removed from d-tracks and am very busy all summer long. Hope you enjoy your trip as much as it sounds like I would.

Thanks for the invite!!!

Every weekend Briar... I used to drive, That is where the 3dracer name came from... . I was 3d. Still involved every weekend. I am in dirt track racing central!!!!

Awesome, 3dracer, I'll look for ya. Drop me an email if you hit a race in my part of the midwest. My cousin is Jeff Napper, #112, do you know him? Runs a lot at Bardstown Speedway, as well as Eldora, Barren County Speedway in Glasgow, Kentucky, and Mountain Motor Speedway in Isom, Kentucky.

Same here... used to race, now old and poor so I just watch. We have Port Royal, Selinsgrove, and Clinton County here. Pennzoil World of Outlaws run at Port:cool:
