it will go in almost all the way but not enough for the hold down to go on...

i even pulled out the injector tube and it still only goes to the same point. .

any tricks to do?

yes but the new one fell down in there and it seems to be laying flat. .

i just can't get the injector to go all the way down to the o-ring. .

Oil the oring then screw the injector hold down bolt part way in. Next take a flat prybar and gently pry down on the injector it should pop right in.

well after messing with it till dark it seems like the brass or copper sealing ring is in it way and maybe bent some how, but i tried to use a pair of needlenose pliers but i just cant seem to grab it. .

i'll try to work on it in the morning some more...

you will be able to fish out the copper washer. when you reinstall another washer use a litttle bit of great to hold the washer to the injector.

take your time and breath deep.

well i used the aircompressor and blow down in the hole and then i stuck the injector in and it went right down... .

but now i can't seem to get it to start... i broke loose three lines at the vp and got fuel there, then i broke loose 1,3,4 at the head and only gotr fuel at 3,and 4 but it still wont start.....

Keep cranking and make shure that the lines are really loose. Also try to put your foot to the floor while cranking to make the vp pump more fuel.

Vaseline is good to hold the copper washer on the injector tip.

And to fish out the copper washer from the injector bore; use a bic pen, the washer fits perfectly over the plastic area of the tip of a bic.

thanks guys got it running... i just think i should have bought bigger ones not what i though for 110hp bd injectors. .

i had rv275's and now the bd110xxx's and it seems to have a little more power and somke's a tad more down lower... .

but it does seem to be more of a steady power from idle to redline...
