I emailed Don last year about his new injectors. Bottom line is you need a '96-'98 215 HP pump at minimum to run the larger Mach injectors. The smaller pumps like you and I have won't support them. Don said you would not see much of a HP increase and the smoke would be real bad. He said he makes an injector that would smoke less than a 370 and would be ok w/ a smaller pump. They are about a 1000. 00 bananas.
My Diesel Dynamics Stage 3 injectors idle better than the Bosch 215's I had bought first. Great injectors.
Actually the prices on his injectors are considerably lower than that right now. Check out www.wildcatdiesel.com or www.f1diesel.com . Rod will help you with whatever you need to know about them as well.
The Don's EDM injectors are on sale for a $100. 00 off through the end of September at Wildcat Diesel. I ordered the Mach 2's for 12V which is between stock & 370's. Check it out. They are very reasonably price.
I got my Mach 3's from Rip Rook. He'll match or beat the lowest price out there. So far the injectors are performing great. Just driving around town they dont smoke at all but they fog pretty good WOT and with the box on I can stop traffic. The engine idles as smooth as ever they dont seem to cause any roughness at any RPM. Very pleased with their performance.
Awesome, numbers are as follows 499hp before 560hp after 981ft lbs before 1317 ft lbs after. Cant wait to see what that did to my 1\4 mile times Oo. Merv
