I bought my truck on 6/20/03 the dealer put a NH sticker on for me to take home I pointed out that the power steering pump seal was leaking It also needed a drag link end to legally take the sticker they had already put on. After several trips to the dealer they finally installed the drag link end and a new steering pump. I notice that were they parked it oil dripping on the ground. I have been fighting with them to replace the vacuum pump to fix the leak that they caused since 7/3/03. They said today the best they could do was to repair it under there 50/50 warranty even though i already have put 4500 miles on and it only covered me for 1000. He agreed to sell me the pump out right to save on there inflated labor charges I told him I could buy the pump from cummins for 623. 00 and we should get it from them he said he needed to keep the money in his store . I spent two hours there going round and round I consider my self very fortunate to have left with a check in hand for 442. 00 for there half of my new pump. already ordered the seal from Reganis auto I hope it does the trick sorry for the long windedness..... ?????????

If you just bought your truck, then its covered bumper to bumper for 3/36 at the bare minimum... ... ... . in any case, they are on the hook for a year for warranty on another defective pump.

Quit wasting time fighting with these idiots, call DC, register a complaint, then go to another dealership. If you haven't spoken to the service manager yet, thats the last thing you do with this dealership, period.

Did you buy the truck used? How many miles? If it's out of base warranty the best you can do is accept whatever the used car warranty is in your state, another dealer will NOT get in the middle of this. In NY you can register a complaint with the DMV and they will investigate and help settle disputes.
