My truck is for sale... ad #7277 in the classified.

It's just getting to be too much for my tight budget, especially after a fiasco with it last weekend.

:(

C. B. , damn nice lookin' rig. Yes it means alot to you but it's still just a truck times will change and ca$h will come your way as will another truck. If I had some scratch layin' around it would be worth a drive to Idaho for a look see.

The ad hasn't made it to the listings yet but I'm sure I can't afford it and neither can my buddy whom I have infected with dieselitis.

Hope it goes to a deserving owner and you get a fair price.

The add won't be up until they can review it... probably monday afternoon.

I was hoping for around $6k... but I'm going to consider anything.

In the mean time, I need to find another truck... a 96-97 215 12v, 5 speed, LB/CC green or blue.

Don't get me wrong, my truck kick's you-know-what, but the maintenance costs are getting to me. It's just like any older truck.

CB

Does this mean that you are not going to the first gen day? That would be a shame. I wanted to see what that old weenie was going to put out on the dyno. OH YEAH are you feeling guilty yet?

Stomp

Yeah, guilt it skyrocketing...

And the weenie wouldn't have done well on the dyno... damn thing can already peg the pyro at only 300hp, don't know what's wrong...

In 5th gear, floored... the pyro will peg in a hurry, of course that's at 40psi though... :D

Man, that stinks. All that work you've put into it. BOMBing and other stuff.

Can't detune while in school and keep it?

Hopefully not, but what's saying your next truck won't be "sick" either? As they say, "If its got **** or wheels, sooner or later it's gonna give you trouble. "

I'm gonna give you a truck load of it, son. Does that mean I aint gonna get the turbo? I'll send you an email. Keep this in mind- you'll be out $6-12K for a 12v with the 913 pump, plus it wont have the power the green weenie has now. believe me. If you can afford to keep putting fuel in it, I'd recommend keeping it. But i have little room to talk. I'd take it off your hands if I had the money. I'll talk to my "boss" and see if he can swing the money for a farm truck. :D;)

And what's with this fiasco business?

Daniel

I know the feeling- I'm spending to much time keeping mine running, and I depend on it to make my living. I'm going to commence the search for a cheap 2nd gen in AZ- 2wd trucks there are cheaper than i've seen elsewhere.

If only diesels werent so cool and addicting (this is my 13th), I'd just get a Toyota PU and be done with it.

Hey, Toyota made diesels for the US market in the early 80s. Some of them were even turboed.

Now I dont feel so bad about being on my 9th diesel pickup, maybe soon to be 10th. Had a phone call for my classified ad.

Fiasco? Like tractor trailer did a hit and run on my right front, bumper, and grill guard.

All because an injector line sheered off and it sat in a highway-side parking lot overnight... as usual.

I'm really ****** off at my truck so it's over man.

CB, keep in mind that the truck driver could've not known that he did that. I'm not trying to justify it but he could've hit it and not felt that at all. I feel your pain though, i might get flak over this but i'm thinking about doing the same thing as you.

Chris

Oh, I know... I bet the driver never even realized it... it isn't that bad, but at least $800 in damage... frustrating none-the-less.

i can give u a load of crap *smiles* yesterday i moves 10 loads of crap out of the cow's home..... does any one need some fertilizer??? (wish i could get my hands on your truck... no money any way)

FIRE ; now you're in trouble. Don't you know you never verbalize the "what ifs" when Murphy is lurking. Sell that sucker quick now or who knows what will happen next?!

I think CDegner has something on his mind... :-laf ;)

I've had 10 replies so far, and I found a 97, blue, 5 speed, really nice.

To the buyer of CB's truck- Yes, you want it returned to stock. It means more when you BOMB it yourself. :-laf Plus, there may be some SEMO cash in the deal for ya;) Yup, bribing people unseen already. I need to go become a lawyer, prosecutor, or judge. I'll fit right in:rolleyes:

Hey, that 97 crossed 100K yet? You know, trucks with nly 5 digit mileages are cursed. The curse is lifted by crossing the 100 mark.
