Maybe funny, maybe not...

I sold my camper (29' coachmen about 10K lbs...) and it needs to be delivered to Littlerock, ark.
I'm in south jersey. Google maps says it's over 19 hours and about 1250 miles.
It will involve the Pa turnpike. (beaucoup $$$)
What should I get for delivery?
It's for a friend, so I want to be fair.
Last trailer I pulled was a bit lighter and smooth sided and I got about 12 MPG's, but I bumped the timing since then and I probably wont be driving as fast.:-laf
Thanks.

Off topic, but don't run the PA turnpike if at all possible. I'm not sure where you are in Jersey, but I-68 across Maryland is much, much better than towing through the construction nightmare on the turnpike.

Thanks. May not be able to do tunnels anyway (propane)
Figure out how to get to 81s then 40w.
Then 55 to 555 and off to the 2 lanes....

78 is out of the way, but the extra miles may be worth the savings in aggravation/traffic/construction.
I'm in Eastern Ocean county, so the only road from me that goes west is rt 37 to Rt 70.
Even 195 is out of the way. But not as bad as 78. Problem is, it takes me to Trenton. Still no good roads to go the way I need to go. Then I'm pretty much committed to the Pa tpk and that mess if I take the 195 route.
South of me....nothing really. AC Expressway? Rt 40?

Put us an ad (?) on U ship. Currently $3400 :--) I'm guesstimating 100 gallons out and 75 back should be fair. Plus tolls.

When I estimate a towing job I figure 12 mpg while towing and 20 mpg empty. Divide that into the miles to be driven and multiply fuel cost per gallon. Diesel prices are easily found on line. I avoid truck stops because their prices are typically 25-40 cents more per gallon than many places that can be accessed by a pick-up & trailer.

How about leaving the propane bottles? Will you be allowed in the tunnels then? You can get others unless they're special.
its probably a 2-3 hour detour to do the 78-81 thing. I would come across 195 etc and grab 206 into Somerville and then onto 287-78 and westward.

$400 for fuel, tolls I don't know, and 4 days of meals and lodging. The whole deal can be done for less than a grand.
