IRS lifting the Diesel Tax temporarily

Diesel Price Watch!

OK - I know a lot of us have RV's - and we'll use them to some extent - BUT I can't help but think that thre are going to be huge hits in the manufacturing and sales of these in the very near future... ... The spin on fuel is going to affect a lot of folks.....

... Not to mention the boating industry as well. I bet there will be "bargans galore" this fall/winter. Probably be able to pick up a boat for . 50 or . 40 cents on the dollar.

i am hoping this will hurt the housing market for homes out of the city [rural area where a commute is 30min to 60min] that would be good for me as i am soon to be in the house buying market.

i'm gonna have to say that prices of campers just went UP... that's what happened in FL last year with Charlie... I guess I waited just a lil too long to head back down to mom's to pick up a nice cheap used unit, she said they're already being bought up and loaded on flatbeds, headed toward LA and Miss!

those used campers from fema from the fl hurricanes were being sold on internet gov sales, they were sold at extremely high prices. no deals there. . Randy

No actually the camper prices will go up soon as FEMA is buying all that can be produced by the manufactures. This will cause a shortage in new campers which will trickel down to the used units. The goverment has asked for a list of all camper inventories in the country. Thousands will be purchased for temp housing.

they will take some what of a hit becase of fuel prices but with the travel hassels at airports, you have a second instant emergency home incase of many types of disasters, I think they will still be selling many RV's.

I think the bigger issue is that the economy may go bust, and put us into a reccesion or even a depression. Then everything will come to a screaching halt.
